We predict that the 2013 Chevrolet Colorado will be based off of GM’s Australian truck the Holden Colorado. Its possible we will see a small diesel engine put in the Colorado, among other options. The first generation Colorado was never as popular as the S10 that it replaced, and Chevy is hoping they recapture that with the 2013 model. There will be many options to make this truck unique for each person’s tastes. 4×4 and 4×2 will be offered as well as multiple cab configurations. We expect highway fuel economy for the smaller engines to be in the high 20MPG range.

A new Ford Ranger will be for sale about the same time as the new Colorado. The 2013 Chevy Colorado will be out late 2012.
