2014 Chevrolet Cruze

The new Chevrolet Cruze will have greatly updated styling and improved fuel efficiency. The current Cruze has been on the US market since 2010 (as a 2011 model) and on the global market since 2008. While the current generation is a great car, there is much competition in the compact segment from the likes of Honda, Toyota, Hyundai, Ford and Mazda. This make this restyle very important for Chevy.

For the 2014 Cruze model, many changes are coming. There are rumors of a diesel powertrain making its way to the US market and demand may also be strong enough for the hatchback Cruze to land on our shores eventually. Underpinning the new model will be a shared platform that will be used in several Chevy models. Styling will most likely pull its influence from the new 2014 Impala. The design should give the Cruze a clean modern look without looking like an economy car.

Production of the next generation Cruze will stay at the Lordstown Ohio plant. We except this new model to release in the fall of 2014 or 2015. It is not confirmed yet on which year exactly the new Cruze will be released, but we are confident in it being a 2014 or 2015 model.
