2015 Chrysler Aspen

Dead is the body-on-frame Chrysler Aspen which was based on the last generation of Dodge Durango. When Dodge came out with the new generation of Durango in the 2011 model year they did not produce the luxury Aspen along with it. This was probably due to a few reasons. Large luxury SUVs were not as popular a few years ago and Chrysler was more focused with the whole restructuring / bailout ordeal. However the economy hasĀ  turned around and so has the company. So for these reasons we expect to see a 2015 Chrysler Aspen.

We expect the 2015 Chrysler Aspen to debut when the refresh of the Durango occurs. On the outside expect to see the current Chrysler 200 and 300 design language, but we do not plan on seeing all unique metal for the Aspen. The interior of the Aspen will be well appointed and rival the higher end luxury SUVs on the market. We are thinking this because of how nicely done the 300’s interior is currently. Fuel economy will improve to the mid-20 range for highway from further refinements of the Pentastar v6. The 2015 Chrysler Aspen should be at dealers in the winter of 2014.
